Women's Soccer Drops Conference Match to LVC

ANNVILLE, Pa. - Led by Ely Kirkhoff the Dutchmen of Lebanon Valley College (8-5-2/1-1-1 CC) shutout women's soccer (7-6-3/0-3-1 CC) by the final score of 3-0 Saturday afternoon at Herbert Field in a Commonwealth Conference match.

Kirkhoff netted two of Lebanon Valley's three goals, while Stevi Laird scored the Dutchmen's first goal of the day. Laird's goal came in the 17th minute while Kirkhoff found the back of the goal in 34th and 47th minutes.

As a team Albright totaled eight shots, with five ending up on target. The Lions held a 6-3 advantage in corner kicks, with six of those coming in the second half. Despite the opportunities the Lady Lions were unable capitalize in another must-win conference match.

In goal, #Olivia Giuliano# recorded three saves, while junior transfer #Kelsey Kuhns# came up with four saves. For Lebanon Valley Sami Young totaled four saves in 72 minutes of action, and Becca Sykes recorded one save in the final 17 minutes of play.

Women's Soccer returns to Shirk Stadium on Tuesday when they host Arcadia University at 7 p.m.
