READING, Pa. – The Albright College Lady Lions put forth one of their best efforts of the season, but it wasn't enough as they fell to the Arcadia University Knights by the score of 1-0 in overtime on Tuesday evening at Shirk Stadium.

In their sixth overtime game of the season, Albright (7-7-3/0-4-1 Commonwealth) fell short four minutes into the first overtime when Arcadia's Sara Volk-Perez deposited her third goal of the season on a pass from Janelle Jablonski.

Albright's defense stood tall against regionally-ranked Arcadia (12-3-1/4-1-0). #Olivia Giuliano# made one big save after another in net. The junior goalkeeper made ten saves to keep Arcadia off the board in regulation. On the other side, Arcadia keeper Jackie Law stopped four shots for the shutout.

Arcadia outshot Albright 13-6 and placed 11 shots on goal to Albright's four. They also recorded three corner kicks to Albright's zero.

Albright's #Isla Wilczynski# recorded a team-leading two shots off the bench.

The Lady Lions travel to #1 ranked Messiah College this Saturday for a 5:30 p.m. Commonwealth Conference match.
