READING, Pa. - Led by Laura Wingert the Blue Jays of Elizabethtown College (6-4-2/1-0-1 Commonwealth) handed the Lady Lions (7-4-3/0-1-1) their first loss since September 28 with a 2-0 conference decision Saturday afternoon at Shirk Stadium.
Winger assisted on Elizabethtown's first goal of Saturday's match, and then sealed the win for her team with her ninth goal of the season in the 41st minute. Giving the Blue Jays the 1-0 lead was Kelly Fisher who scored on a header in the 27th minute.
For Albright, Saturday's match was a tough one as they seemed to be just one step behind the Blue Jays from start to finish. Despite tallying 11 shots, five of which were on goal, the red and white were unable to build any real momentum. #

Elizabethtown used the two first half goals to push them through the second half to earn their first conference win of the 2010 season. Wingert dominated the Blue Jays totaling four shots, three of which were on target.
