READING, Pa. - Knotted at 1-1 going into the first overtime period, the Aggies of Delaware Valley College (3-5-1) managed to capitalize on a perfectly placed corner kick to score the game-winner five minutes into the period to defeat the Lady Lions (3-3-2) by the score of 2-1 Saturday evening in Shirk Stadium.

Netting the goal was Miranda Schieler who is normally the Aggies goalkeeper on most occasions. On Saturday, night she was the hero of the moment as she redirect the ball past Albright goalkeeper #Olivia Giuliano#. Sending in the cross was Kara Fecanin who also assisted the Aggies game-tying goal in the 59th minute.

The red and white's goal came on a beautiful shot from #Lauren O'Brien# in just the third minute of Saturday's non-conference match. Assisting on the goal was #Alex Talbot#, her third of the year.

Saturday's match was evenly played match, despite some very questionable calls and cards that were handed out by the head official. The Aggies held a three shot advantage over Albright, who was coming off back-to-back wins earlier in the week.

In goal, Giuliano totaled five saves, while Aggies goalkeeper Julie Burnell tallied three to earn her third win of the year.

Albright did lead the match in corner kicks with six, while only allowing Delaware Valley to take two.

Women's Soccer returns to action on Monday when they host Goucher College at 7 p.m. in Shirk Stadium.
