Two more Lions were featured on a postseason All-Star team as Albright's
Marty Reinhardt and
Scott Pillar were both named to the 2011 ECAC Division III South Football All-Star second team.
Reinhardt, a fullback and first team All-MAC selection, compiled 206 yards on 52 carries, an average of 4.0 yards despite being used mostly in short-yardage situations. He rushed for three touchdowns, including two in a victory over FDU-Florham.
Pillar adds to a long list of honors after being named a first team All-MAC wide receiver, a D3football.com All-Region selection and a BSN All-American.
He led the MAC in regular season receptions (60), receiving yards (1051) and touchdown receptions (12). He was twice named to the MAC Team of the Week.
Including the ECAC Bowl game against Cortland State, Pillar finished the season with 67 catches for 1141 yards. He now ranks fifth in school history for single-season receiving yards and TD catches.
Both Pillar and Reinhardt are seniors at Albright this year, although each has a season of athletic eligibility remaining.
The MAC swept the offensive awards, with Lebanon Valley running back
Ben Guiles earning Offensive Player of the Year honors and Delaware Valley quarterback
Aaron Wilmer taking the Offensive Rookie of the Year category.
