The Albright College men's golf team tied for second on Monday at Bent Creek Country Club, in the Franklin & Marshall Invitational.

The LIons shot 306 as the Diplomats turned in two of the top three teams- winning in 289 and submitting a B-squad that tied Albright at 306.

Franklin & Marshall took nine of the top 20 spots, including winning Cameron Warner (70). That top-20 list also included four Lions however.

Freshman Avery Jones led the way with a 74, good for fifth place overall. Sal Capelli was a stroke behind, and senior Erik Thorn and Steve Werst each carded a 78 on the day.

Albright will be back in action on Thursday at the local Alvernia Invitational.
