The Albright College men's golf team shot 320 in its final tuneup for the Commonwealth Conference championships, taking third out of 18 teams.

The Lions edged Franklin & Marshall (321) for third, coming in behind Millersville (310) and Swarthmore (317).

Erik Thorn and Anthony Rusnak each shot 79 to lead the way for Albright, tying for ninth overall. Avery Jones (80) was 18th, MAC Scholar Athlete Steve West (82) was 27th and Sal Capelli (83) was 32nd.

Albright will compete this weekend in the Commonwealth Conference championship tournament at the Hershey East course. First round action tees off at 8 a.m. on Saturday, with the final round scheduled for Sunday.
