Tamahra Sheard finished 31st overall leading the Albright College women's cross country team to a fifth-place finish at the Albright Lights Out Invitational Friday night at Trout Run Park.
Sheard earned her 31st-place finish by completing the 4k course in a time of 16:39.
Led by Sheard, Albright finished fifth in the team standings with 146 points. Connecticut captured first place in the team standings with 19 points, while Dickinson was second with 44 points. Alvernia placed third with 105 points followed by Hartwick (126 pts), Albright, Cabrini (153 pts) and Rosemont (178 pts).
Freshman
Jo Carter was the second Albright finisher on the evening as she placed 36th overall in a time of 16:57, while
Karen Gasior was 43rd in a time of 17:05.
Amanda Hoeler and
Sophie Huster rounded out the Albright contingent. Hoeler placed 49th overall in 18:16 and Huster was 57th in 19:53.
