READING, Pa. – The Albright field hockey program fell to Lebanon Valley 1-0 on Saturday afternoon in MAC Commonwealth action in Shirk Stadium on Senior Day.
Prior to the start of the game,

Colleen Cahill were honored for all of their hard work over the past four years wearing the red and white jerseys.
Albright's
Aileen Taylor made nine saves in the cage, but the Lions saw their record drop to 9-6 on the year and 2-2 in the conference.
Lebanon Valley's Brittany Fleisher tallied the lone of the game at the 4:35 mark of the first period to put the Dutchmen in front 1-0. Lyndee Sheaffer was credited for the assist on the play.
Going into halftime, the Lebanon Valley claimed an 8-4 shot advantage. Talyor made five of her nine saves in the first stanza.
In the second frame, the Lions garnered six penalty corners as they had many offensive opportunities but were unable to put any of their shots past Lebanon Valley's Victoria ByDeley.
In the 57
th and 58
th minute, Albright mustered shots from
Tracy Snyder and Smith as well earning a penalty corner. The Lions did what they could to tie the contest, but the Dutchmen stopped all 13 Albright shots in the game.
Lebanon Valley tallied 16 shots in the contest, nine of which were in the first period, and with the win it improved to 9-5 overall and remain undefeated in the MAC Commonwealth at 4-0.
Snyder was all over the turf as she put seven shots on the afternoon, six of those on target. Leonardis,contributed two shots on Senior Day.
The Lions are back in action on Wednesday (Oct. 21) as the team travels to Widener to play under the lights in conference play at 7 p.m.
