READING, Pa. – The Albright women's soccer team saw its 2016 season come to an end with a 2-1 defeat against Kean in the second round of the ECAC Tournament at Shirk Stadium on Sunday night.
The Lions started out with a fury as they scored a goal in the third minute.
Crissy Terraces recorded her third goal of the ECAC Tournament when she took a crossing feed from
Emily Sousa and headed it home to give the Lions a 1-0 lead. Terraces finished the match with four shots and three on goal. The Lions put six shots on goal in the first half but only managed the one goal.
That gave Kean a chance to tie the score, which it did just three minutes into the second half. Emily Jurcsek accepted a feed from the right side and scored to make it 1-1 in the 48
th minute. Kean took the lead with a goal by Kaitlyn Pallitto in the 67
th minute as she chipped a shot high on a breakaway to make it 2-1.
Albright continued to press in the second half, registering seven shots. Sousa hit the crossbar with just less than nine minutes to play. Even with the opportunities, Albright couldn't find the equalizer.

Alexis Tunney finished with six saves. Sousa led the team with six shots and two on goal.
Megan O'Brien also had two shots on goal. Albright outshot Kean, 15-12.
