Reading, PA - The Albright Lions fell to the York Spartans by a score of 1-0. The loss drops the Lions to 1-8-3 on the season, and 0-2 in conference play. York is now 6-3-2 and 1-0-1.
The game was played on a rain soaked field, which slowed the pace of things down quite noticeably in the first half, where both teams struggled to get any offense going. The game would head to halftime scoreless.
Then in the second minute of the second half, the Spartans broke through and scored the only goal of the game. The goal was scored by Erin Snyder, and assisted by Ashlynn Weger.
The Spartans outshot the Lions 15-3 during the game, and had five corners, compared to Albright's three.
Alexis Baez had both of Albright's two shots on goal. Goalie
