Reading, PA - The Albright Lions fell to the Penn State - Berks Nittany Lions by a score of 3-1 on Monday night. The loss drops the Lions to 1-2-3 on the season, while the Nittany Lions improve to 4-1.

Adriana Lepera opened the scoring for PSU with a goal in the 18th minute. The visiters would double their lead on a goal by Emily Clapper in the 38th minute. That would be all of the scoring in the first half, as the Nittany Lions would hold a 2-0 lead headed into halftime.

Albright would cut the lead in half early in the second half on a Journee Haynes goal in the 47th minute. It was just the second goal that PSU's goalie Sophia Gonzalez has allowed all season.

Albright would continue to try to find the equalizer, but Diana Pon would score  a goal in the 83rd minute, giving the Nittany Lions the 3-1 victory.

PSU out shot the Lions 12-6, and had more corner kicks (8-5).

Up Next - The Lions will next play at Penn State Harrisburg on Wednesday, September 14th. That game is scheduled to start at 7pm.
