OWINGS MILLS Md. - The Albright field hockey team (4-7, 0-1 MAC Commonwealth) played in game number one of the MAC Commonwealth season on Saturday afternoon matching up with the Stevenson University Mustangs (7-5, 1-0 MAC Commonwealth). The Mustangs got the better of the Lions in today's game winning 6-1.

Today's game was number one on the MAC Commonwealth schedule for both Albright and Stevenson. The rest of the way for the Lions will be all MAC Commonwealth contests.

Stevenson struck quickly in today's game scoring twice by the seven minute mark of quarter number one. The Mustangs would tally a goal in the second period to take a 3-0 lead into halftime.

Despite allowing the two goals, Veronica Heckman made five first half saves to keep the Lions in the game.
