ABINGTON, PA. - The Albright Lions men's tennis team opened their 2023 spring season with a convincing 6-3 win on the road over PSU Abington.
Singles matches number one and two went the way of the Lions.
Bryan Fox was in action for Albright in the No. 1 men's singles and won his match 8-7 in a tiebreak. In the tiebreak, Fox took home the win, winning the tiebreak 7-3.
In the Men's singles No. 2 match Arpit Gainder took home the win for the Lions winning his match 8-3.
Clay Lewandowski also won his match in a tiebreak. Lewandowski took home the victory in the tiebreak, 7-5.
Mike Vogt rounded out Albright's singles match wins taking home his match by a final score of 8-3.
In doubles the men's side went 2-1 overall against PSU.
Gavin Buckley and Bryan Fox were paired together and took home the doubles win, 8-5.
Mike Vogt and Dylan Huha put together a clean sweep in their doubles match winning 8-0.

Next Friday the Albright men's tennis team will play their first home match of the 2023 Spring season against Rowan College of Gloucester. First serve is set for 2:30 p.m.
