Women’s Track & Field Returns to Action at Muhlenberg Invitational

The Albright College women’s track and field team was back in action at the Muhlenberg Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

MUHLENBERG, Pa. - The Albright women's track & field team competed this afternoon at the Muhlenberg Invitational and turned in some notable performances.

Cierra Reedy was strong in the shot put finishing in 12th with a throw of 9.47m.
Margaret Williams participated in the same event and ended her day with a respectable throw of 8.98m.
Williams next event was discus and Williams turned in a throw of 29.53m good for 15th.
Eren Tighe finished 15th in the 100m dash with a time of 18.01. Tighe also turned in a notable time of 1:14.04 in the 400 meter hurdles. The time was good for 7th out of all competitors.

UP NEXT:
The Albright women's track & field team will head to York College (Pa.) on Wednesday April 5 for a midweek meet. The Meet will begin at 2:30 p.m.
