READING, Pa. - The Albright College men's tennis team (2-2, 0-1 MAC Commonwealth Spring Season) avenged their midweek loss by beating Immaculata (1-7 Spring Season) 6-3 on Sunday afternoon.
Arpit Gainder won the number two singles match 6-2, 7-5. Gainder dominated in the first set to set the tone and carried that momentum into set number two to take the match and earn a point for the Lions.
Dylan Huha picked up a win in the singles number four match dominating the opposition. Huha won both sets comfortably by the same score of 6-1, 6-1.
Clay Lewandowski and Gavin Buckley both won their matches to give Albright four points through the six singles matches. Lewandowski won handedly, 6-2, 6-1 and Buckley only dropped one game in his singles win, taking the match 6-0, 6-1.
The duo of Gainder and Buckley cruised in their doubles match winning 8-2. Both Gainder and Buckey won both their singles and doubles matches this afternoon.
The combination of Dylan Huha and Mike Vogt worked to perfection for the Lions. Huha and Vogt won their doubles match 8-0 in dominating fashion to complete the 3-0 run on the day in doubles matches for Albright.
