READING, Pa.. - The Albright College men's tennis team (4-6, 2-5 MAC Commonwealth Spring Season) hosted Messiah (7–7, 4-2 MAC Commonwealth Spring Season) this afternoon and fell to the visiting Falcons 6-3.
Prior to today's match, the three seniors
Arpit Gainder,
Mike Vogt and
Kade Friedrich were honored for their hard work and dedication throughout the years to the Albright men's tennis program.
Clay Lewandowski won his match today in impressive fashion over the opposition. Lewandowski only dropped one game the entire match going on to win the match, 6-1, 6-0.
Mike Vogt won his singles match today to give the Lions singles wins on the day. Vogt dominated the first set 6-2 and went on to win in straight sets taking the second set 6-4.
The duo of
Arpit Gainder and
Dylan Huha teamed up in doubles this afternoon and were a lethal combination. Gainder and Huha took the match comfortably 8-1.
