READING, Pa. – Women's soccer (1-8-2) made the short trip across town taking on Alvernia (6-7-1) in Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Commonwealth action on Friday night. The Golden Wolves won tonight by a final score of 3-1.

Tonight's game marked the second MAC Commonwealth game of the season for Albright. It was the first road conference game of the season after Albright opened MAC play at home against Widener last weekend.

Audrey Solt scored tonight giving the Albright Lion her second goal in as many games. Much like Wednesday's game, Solt scored on a freekick from 35 yards out having enough pace on the shot to beat the unsuspecting Alvernia goalie.

Solt is the team's leading scorer after breaking a tie with teammates Daiveni Fisher and Mackenzie Sowers this evening. Additionally, Solt tied for the team lead in shots on the night with four.

Alvernia scored the game's first three goals all coming in the first half. After no goals were scored in the second half, the halftime score of 3-1 held until the games final whistle in favor of Alvernia.

Sowers fired four shots placing two of them on goal. Alyssa DeVita added two shots of her own. As a team Albright ended with 14 shots having five different players tally at least one shot.
