ANNVILLE, Pa. - The annual penultimate Last Chance Run Fast was held on Friday afternoon on the campus of Lebanon Valley College. The race gives the participants one last chance to qualify for next weekends Middle Atlantic Conference Championships.
Albright took home 8
th out of 10 total scoring teams finishing the race with a team score of 205.
Dante Zamichieli continues to shine for the Lions. The senior used today's race as a tune up for next week's championships and turned in a strong performance. Zamichieli finished 4
th overall with a time of 27:05.02 topping the majority of the 83-person field.
The 4
th place finish is the highest finish of the Zamichieli's career. Last year, Zamichieli took 10
th at the Penn State Abington Invitational marking his previous best finish.
Jordan Patton finished second on the team today with a time of 33:57.0.
Chris Alvarado was just behind Patton with a time of 35:34.1.
Charles McClain and
Chade Polen rounded out the Lions in action finishing next to each other on the leaderboard. McClain earned a time of 36:08.3 and Polen earned a time of 36:26.6.
