Women’s Soccer Hosts Senior Night against York

Women’s Soccer honored their seniors prior to their final home game against York College.

READING, Pa. – Women's Soccer (2-11-2) played their final home game of the regular season against the York College Spartans (10-3-4). The visiting Spartans would leave with a 5-1 win following 90 minutes of play.
 
Prior to the game the team took the time to honor seniors McKenna LeVan, Sarah Chernis, Kelly Griffin. 
 
Mackenzie Sowers led the way for the Lions' offense and picked up a goal in the 58th minute of play. 
 
Also present in the shot column were Audrey Solt and Gianna Glembocki who looked to spark the Lions offense. 
 
Despite the loss, McKenna LeVan turned in a solid performance in net with 11 saves and a number of clutch grabs tom break up additional Spartan attack chances.

The Lions will finish the regular season with two MAC Commonwealth matches beginning on the road against Eastern on Wednesday (10/30) at 7:00 pm.
