Women’s Track and Field 4x200 Relay Team Earns Podium Finish at MAC Championships

The Albright women’s track and field 4x200 relay team of Mackenzie Dover, Taisha Charles, Eren Tighe and Nyla Callahan took home eighth on day one of the MAC Indoor Championships.

READING, Pa. – The Albright women's track and field team competed on day one of the 2024 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Indoor Track and Field Championships on the campus of Alvernia University. The Lions 4x200 relay team of Mackenzie Dover, Taisha Charles, Eren Tighe and Nyla Callahan earned a podium finish to highlight day one of the championships.

FULL DAY ONE RESULTS

Dover, Charles, Tighe and Callahan earned a time of 1:51.86 to take home eighth in the 4x200 relay. Dover ran the fastest split of the group finishing her leg of the relay in 25.30. The time of 1:51.86 was good enough to edge out the ninth place King's College team by nine tenths of a second.

The Albright women's track and field team will be back in action tomorrow on day two of the MAC Indoor Championships. The meet will start in the morning and continue throughout the day on Saturday.
