READING, Pa. – The Albright women's track and field team competed on day two of the 2024 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Indoor Track and Field Championships on the campus of Alvernia University. The Lions 4x400 relay team of Mackenzie Dover, Alyssa DeVita, Eren Tighe and Nyla Callahan earned a sixth-place finish capping the Championships on a high note.

FULL DAY TWO RESULTS

The relay team took home sixth with a time of 4:18.19 to earn three points in the Championships. The time was nearly a second faster than the seventh-place finishing team for York College. Callahan was the anchor in today's relay race and ran the fastest leg for the Lions at 1:03.05 to secure the podium finish.

On day one of the MAC Championships the 4x200 relay team of Taisha Charles, Dover,Tighe and Callahan earned a time of 1:51.86 to take home eighth in the 4x200 relay. Dover ran the fastest split of the group finishing her leg of the relay in 25.30. The time of 1:51.86 was good enough to edge out the ninth place King's College team by nine tenths of a second.
