READING, Pa. – The Albright women's track and field team made the short trip to Alvernia University on Saturday afternoon competing in the Alvernia PLEX Shootout. Today's meet marks the fifth straight week of competition for the Lions.

Eren Tighe,
Taisha Charles,
Nyla Callahan and
Alyssa DeVita were in action during the 4 x 200 relay and finished in 1:54.38.
The 4 x 400 relay team of
Maggie Williams,
Katelyn Schweitzer, Callahan and
Leah Brown preformed well in the race finishing in 4:25.31, good for 4
th place.
In the women's long jump
Nyla Callahan took fifth in the flight one finals with a jump of 15'2.75''.
Maggie Williams participated in the shot put and turned in a throw of 30'2.25'', narrowly missing a MAC qualifying throw.
Alyssa DeVita took her shot at the 800m and ran to a tune of 2:30.83 in the event.
Eren Tighe ran to the tune of 1:07.53 in the 400m dash finishing in second during the respective finals section race.

The women's indoor track and field team will return to action next weekend on Friday, February 9 at Franklin & Marshall College in the Blue & White Invitational.
