COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. - The Albright men's track and field team returned to the track on day two of the Ursinus Meet after a strong performance in day one of the track and the field.
Day 2 Results
Elle Haddon had a day recording the 65
th best javelin throw of the year in D3. Haddon took 2
nd overall this afternoon over 17 other competitors reaching a distance of 30.85m. Haddon will look to improve on her distance before competing in the MAC Championships in May.
Eren Tighe took home second with a fantastic time of 1:11.40 in the 400m hurdles. The time is a a season best for Tighe and easily qualifies her for the MAC Championships later this spring.
Mackenzie Dover,
Laurel Gingrich and
Nyla Callahan all finished in the top half of the 200m dash. Dover and Callahan each ran to a season best in the race. Dover finished in 27.52, Callahan in 28.11 and Gingrich in 27.55.
Julia Parmelee earned a personal best in the 800m finishing with a time of 2:50.09.
