CHESTER, Pa. – The women's track and field team saved one of their best days of the year for the third and final day of the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championships. Eren Tighe, Mackenzie Dover, Elle Haddon and Laurel Gingrich all earned podium finishes in their respective events.

DAY 3 RESULTS

It was a successful day on the track and field for the Lions as the team saw four different individuals end their day on the podium. To earn a spot on the podium, you need a top eight finish in your respective event.

Laurel Gingrich was in action during the women's 400m dash. Gingrich took home 5^th in the event with a time of 59.37. the finish for Gingrich marks her best finish in any event of the Outdoor Track and Field MAC Championships.

Mackenzie Dover qualified for today's finals in the 100m dash. The Albright women's basketball star can also get in done on the track finishing in 7^th this afternoon. Dover's time of 12.84 was good enough to land her on the podium.

In the 400m hurdles Albright was represented by Eren Tighe. Tighe was putting in solid times all season long and today was no different. Tighe's time of 1:09.32 was good for a 7^th place finish.

Elle Haddon rounded out the field events for the Lions securing another podium finish for the team. Haddon was in action during the javelin event. On the second throw of Haddon's day, the first-year Lion reached a distance 115'10'' to take home 5^th place in the event.

The Lions 4x400 relay team of Alyssa DeVita, Tighe, Dover and Gingrich took home 6^th with a time of 4:08.84. The time was nearly two seconds faster than the 7^th place finishing team.
