WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – Women's soccer (1-3-1) went on the road for the first time in two weeks matching up against Wilkes (3-2-1) on Wednesday night. Wilkes won tonight by a final score of 1-0.
The last three games for the Lions all came at home with tonight marking the first road game since September 3.
The Colonels tallied a goal in the 32
nd minute of play to open the games scoring. The 1-0 lead would hold until halftime.
The games only goal came in the first half as Wilkes used their first half goal to escape with a 1-0 win over visiting Albright.
Daiveni Fisher looked to spark the Lions attack. The first year forward tallied one shot, on goal, for the Lions.
In goal,
McKenna LeVan made five saves for Albright.
