SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Women's track and field competed in the Paul Kaiser meet throughout the day on Saturday afternoon on the campus of Shippensburg University. The meet marks the final one before the MAC Championships begin next week.
RESULTS
Elle Haddon finished eighth in the javelin with a throw of 34.65m. The eighth place finish beat out 40 other competitors including a plethora of Division II competitors. Haddon has already qualified for the MAC Championships next week but is in tremendous form heading into the championships.
In the 100m dash
Julia Parmelee recorded a time of 14.38 while
Standey Sauveur turned in a time of 14.88. Parmelee and Standey also competed in the 200m dash and recorded a time of 30.45 and 32.32, respectively.
The aforementioned duo both took their turn in the long jump and reached distances of 4.34m and 4.15m, respectively.
Alyssa DeVita fared well in the 400m finishing with a time of 1:05.55.
