LANCASTER, Pa. – Women's soccer (0-8-2) matched up against Lancaster Bible College (6-3) on Monday evening in a non-conference match. Lancaster Bible left win a win in the end topping the Lions 3-0.
As the calendar heads towards October, the Lions only have two non-conference games left. By weeks end, the Lions will begin Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth play on Saturday against York.
Lancaster Bible jumped on the Lions early scoring three goals in the first half helping them to extend their winning streak to four games.
Paisley Tornatore played the second half and made four saves without allowing a goal. Tornatore is up to 44 saves this season in seven games played.
Daleyney Herrera-Mingucha and
Brylie Jensen each fired two shots looking to get the Lions on the board. Jensen has six such games this season registering at least two shots.
Audrey Solt,
Azure Crossley and
Samantha Rosenberg were each credited with one shot each in the contest.
Albright held the advantage in corners 6-2 over Lancaster Bible.
