Women’s Soccer Faces Eastern in Second Game of Road Trip

Conference play for the Lions continued against the Eagles of Eastern.

ST. DAVIDS, Pa. – Women's Soccer (7-7-3, 1-3-2 MAC Commonwealth) took on Eastern (7-6-2, 3-1-1) in what was the second of three straight road games for the Lions. The Eagles would go on to prevail 2-0 over the Lions.

As a team the Lions picked up seven shots in what was a back-and-forth physical contest between the two teams. Daiveni Fisher led the offensive attack for Albright and fired off three shots while helping create additional scoring chances for her teammates.

Joining Fisher in the offensive attack were Jaylin Sheffield, Daniela Castillo, Abigail Landis and Anna Hogue-Pellerin as the Lions had no lack of pressure despite the score.

Despite a second half shutout from the Lions, a pair of first half Eastern goals would be enough for the Eagles to earn their seventh win of the season.

Olivia Reinhart turned away eight shots bringing her season save total to 78 and continues to impress in her first collegiate season.
