Field Hockey Concludes Regular Season with Messiah

The Lions took to the field one last time in 2026.

READING, PA. – Field Hockey (2-16, 0-8 MAC Commonwealth) took on #21 Messiah (11-6, 7-1 MAC Commonwealth) in their final game of the season. The playoff bound Falcons would wind up leaving with a 5-0 win.

Despite the final score, the Lions held Messiah in check through the first 30 minutes of play which included four saves made by Delana Dunkelberger who would go on to finish with nine total saves on the day.

Taking lead on the attack efforts for the Lions were McKena Cox and Bobbie Van Oordt who were present in the shot column and created a number of near miss opportunities for the Lions and made the Falcons work hard for their seventh conference win of the season.
