READING, Pa. — Men's tennis hosted Penn State Berks in their fall home opener, taking a clean 7-0 win. Their win today featured clean sweeps by
David Garces Cifuentes,
Nicolas Vallejo, and
Adam Good.
In doubles play,
Matias Contreras paired up with Garces Cifuentes against Berk's Talan Nguyen and Joseph Martin. The Lions won the match, 6-1.
Vallejo and
Enrico Pucci saw doubles action as well, facing Caleb Corjuc and Evan Imschweiler. Vallejo and Pucci were tested, but came through with a 6-3 win.
In singles play, Garces Cifuentes, Vallejo, and Good all swept their opponents in 6-0, 6-0 fashion.
Contreras saw familiar foe Nguyen in singles play. Contreras ran away with a 6-0, 6-1 victory.
