CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Women's soccer (4-3-1) took on Washington College (Md.) (4-2-1) in the second of a three-game road trip. Through 90 minutes of physical play, the Lions would fall by a score of 3-0.
Abigail Landis led the charge for the Lions attack and put a shot on goal while contributing to a number of additional scoring chances for her teammates.
Gabby Verdone,
Daiveni Fisher and
Brylie Jensen also contributed on the offensive end and peppered the Washington defense with additional shots.
Clare Caldaro and
Bree Hancock helped coordinate a solid defensive effort that kept the high-powered Washington Offense in check and allowing the Lions to remain firmly in contention until the final whistle.
