Albright College is delighted to welcome fans to cheer on our Albright Lion student-athletes at home athletic events. Albright College remains committed to keeping the College community healthy while mitigating the spread of COVID-19.
In accordance with the Middle Atlantic Conference decision to permit individual universities to make decisions regarding fan attendance during the fall semester, Albright Athletics has created the following Spectator Protocols for Sporting Events.
ALBRIGHT OUTDOOR EVENTS
- Spectators will be permitted to attend outdoor events
- Spectators will be permitted to be unmasked for outdoor events (this policy is subject to change as conditions require and CDC guidelines change).
- Spectators are encouraged to maintain social distancing of at least six feet from
anyone outside their household for the duration of their time on campus. This
includes when entering and exiting all competition venues as well as when using
restroom facilities.
- Spectators are required to wear masks/face coverings when entering indoor spaces such as bathrooms and locker rooms.
- Unvaccinated spectators are advised to consider wearing a mask when in close proximity to others.
- Spectators are not permitted to stand or sit directly behind the teams' bench areas regardless of whether the event is indoors or outdoors.
ALBRIGHT INDOOR EVENTS
- Spectators will be permitted to attend indoor events
- ALL spectators must be masked at all times for indoor events inside the Bollman Center except when drinking or eating.
- Failure to comply with these policies will result in removal from the competition site.
Albright College will continue to monitor the State of Pennsylvania and local public health information and may adjust this guidance if conditions require. Guests must comply with all instructions from Albright Athletics event management staff and/or Public Safety. All protocols outlined in this document are subject to change.
Please note that schedule changes may occur at any time due to the rapidly evolving COVID-19 landscape, and teams from visiting institutions respond to COVID impacts on their respective campuses.
