Rachel Cantwell ’08 is beginning her third season as the Assistant Men’s and Women’s Swimming coach at Albright.
One of the greatest swimmers to ever compete at Albright College, Cantwell never lost a race in her prolific four year career. She was a member of four conference championship teams, and was a 4-time winner of the David B. Eavenson Award which is given to the top swimmer at the Middle Atlantic Conference Championship meet
Named the college’s Freshman and Senior Female Athlete of the Year, Cantwell was featured in Sports Illustrated Faces in the Crowd for her amazing undefeated career at Albright. To this day, Cantwell still holds the record in the 200 yard Individual Medley at MAC’s. She also holds four individual and two relay records at Albright as well.
Cantwell, who was a Shirk Scholar graduated from Albright in 2008 with a degree in Elementary Education, and is now working towards her Master’s Degree.
