Romarr Mayne enters his third season as an assistant coach for the Albright men's and women's track and field teams in 2017-18.
Mayne joins the Albright coaching staff after serving as a volunteer assistant coach at Reading High School and serving as the head coach of the Reading youth sports club.
In 2016-17, junior Jonathan Bieber earned gold at the MAC Championships in the 110-meter hurdles.
During his first season at Albright, Mayne helped coach Bieber to conference outdoor titles in the 110 and 400 hurdles.
Mayne was an oustanding student-athlete at Shippensburg where he helped lead the team to four consecutive outdoor championships.
He earned conference individual titles in the sprints three times and was named the conference athlete of the week on six occasions.
He also was named an all-region selection during the 2010 indoor season.
