James Gerhart enters his sixth season as an assistant coach on the Albright men's and women's golf coaching staff in 2018.
Gerhart, a commerical airline pilot, was employed by Piedmont Airlines until retiring as a captain in 2011 following a 22-year career.
An avid golfer, he has been a member of Golden Oaks Golf Club since 1997. During that time he has participated in many local and club tournaments. Most recently, Gerhart was the winner of the first flight of the Golden Oaks Club championship in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. He also was the overall winner of the 2014 senior club championship at Golden Oaks.
Gerhart currently resides in the Reading area where he was born and raised.
