ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. - After getting rained out on Saturday, the Albright Women's Tennis team (2-5/0-4 Commonwealth) returned to action Monday afternoon as they faced Commonwealth Conference opponent Elizabethtown College (3-0/3-0 Commonwealth). The Lady Lions still in the hunt for their first conference win of the season fell to the host Blue Jays by the final score of 9-0.

Through the first three doubles matches the red and white played extremely well against their very tough opponents. In first singles #Lisa Archibald# and #Ashley Woodcock# fell by the score of 8-2. Moving to third doubles action, the newcomer duo of #Desiree Owle# and #Anna Berzins# played extremely well again, but were unable to get past their Blue Jay opponents falling 8-5.

Moving into singles competition, Elizabethtown took all six matches to earn the 9-0 conference victory.

Women's Tennis returns to action on Saturday when they host Lycoming College at 1 p.m. in a Commonwealth Conference match on the Albright Tennis Courts.
