The Albright College women's tennis team won for the second consecutive day as the Lions defeated Lancaster Bible 8-1, Thursday in Reading, Pa.
Albright swept doubles play, with
Victoria Foanio and
Christina Peacock winning 8-3 in the top spot,
Katy Oeste and
Alyssa Sell going a perfect 8-0 at second doubles, and
Nazma Ali and
Abby Walke teaming to take an 8-2 decision in the third spot.
Foanio (first) and Sell (third) both swept their singles matches with perfect 6-0, 6-0 scores.
Oeste won 6-0, 6-3 at second singles to go to 4-0 in individual competition.
Ligeia Evans won 6-3, 6-3 at fifth singles and
Melissa Carberry took a 6-2, 6-1 decision in the sixth spot.
The Lions are 4-6 on the season, while LBC falls to 1-6.
