Melissa Carberry came back at fifth singles in the only three-set match of the day as the Albright College women's tennis team took another 5-4 victory, over visiting Alvernia on Saturday.
Carberry lost the first set 6-2 and was trailing 5-2 in the second set. With Alvernia about to grab their fifth and final point, she rallied to win 7-6 and took the third set 6-4 to clinch the win.
It was Albright's third consecutive 5-4 scoreline in Commonwealth Conference action, with the Lions winning two of those matches.

Katy Oeste all won their singles matches in the top three spots. Sell and Oeste also teamed for an 8-2 win at second doubles.
The Lions are now 6-7, 2-1 and in position to make a run at a Commonwealth playoff spot. They will host FDU-Florham on Monday.
