Victoria Foanio won a marathon match at first singles, but the Albright College women's tennis team still fell 8-1 at Elizabethtown on Saturday.

Foanio defeated Madison Pipkin, another one of the MAC's top individual players, 3-6, 6-4, 12-10 in the spot singles place.

At first doubles, Foanio and Alyssa Sell lost to Pipkin and Allison Burkhardt 8-4. Sell battled in her second set at second singles, but was still beaten 6-1, 7-5.

The Lions are 7-8, 2-2 and will host Cheyney University in a doubleheader on Monday.
