Riding the strong play of the trio of Victoria Foanio, Alyssa Sell, and Katy Oeste on their home court, the Albright College women's tennis team earned a critical 5-4 victory over Messiah College in their regular season finale on Saturday afternoon.

The victory gives the Lions a playoff berth as they end regular season play with a 10-9 record and a 3-3 mark in Commonwealth Conference action.

Foanio won both of her decisions as she won 6-1, 6-0 at first singles. She also teamed up with Christina Peacock to win 8-3 at first doubles.

Sell and Oeste also won both of their decisions. The pair teamed up at second doubles and earned an 8-0 victory.

With the victory, Albright will travel to Lebanon Valley on Tuesday for a Commonwealth Conference semifinal.
