The Albright College women's tennis team improved to 5-0 against D3 opposition this season, and 3-0 against Penn State satellite schools, with a 5-3 victory over PSU-Berks on Friday night.
The Lions beat PSU-Harrisburg 6-3 earlier this week, and defeated PSU-Abington by the same scoreline on September 14.
Freshman
Elizabeth Bengtsson clinched the match in singles play, coming back to win a 2-6, 6-2, 6-4 decision over
Sam Warga in the fourth spot.
Also winning singles matches were Albright's top two-
Victoria Foanio (first) and
Alyssa Sell (second).
Christina Peacock's sixth singles match was halted in the third set, as darkness set in.
Foanio and Sell swept to an 8-0 win as Albright took two of three doubles points.
Melissa Carberry and
Erin Sullivan were 8-2 victors at second doubles.
