The Albright women's tennis team traveled through Berks County to challenge their neighbor college, Penn State Berks, and left the courts undefeated from player one through player six.
Starting off with doubles, Albright's women set the tone for the day, getting on and off the court quickly without giving room for Berks to slow the pace.
The doubles lineup consisted of
Alyssa Sell and
Victoria Foanio at first doubles,
Melissa Carberry and
Brooke Ronney at second doubles and
Christina Peacock and
Erin Sullivan at third. All three teams played flawlessly and resulted in undefeated scores of 8-0.
At first singles, Foanio swept her opponent- winning with a score of 6-0, 6-0.
At second singles, Ronney followed the pace of her teammate and also dominated with a score of 6-0, 6-0.
At third singles, Sell resulted in victory with scores of 6-2, 6-0.
At fourth singles, Carberry added another point to the Albright scoreboard with a score of 6-2, 6-3.
At fifth and sixth singles, Bengtsson and Sullivan also captured wins with scores of 6-3, 6-3 for Bengtsson and 6-1, 6-2 for Sullivan.
