The Albright College women's tennis team swept Penn State-Harrisburg 9-0 on Wednesday, winning every singles match in straight sets.

Senior Victoria Foanio, fresh off a third consecutive MAC singles title, beat her opponent 6-0, 6-0 at first singles.

In the second spot, freshman Brooke Ronney grabbed a 6-1, 6-0 decision. Junior Alyssa Sell earned a 6-0, 6-0 sweep at third singles.

Melissa Carberry (fourth), Elizabeth Bengtsson (fifth) and Erin Sullivan (sixth) also won singles matches in two sets.

At first doubles, Foanio and Sell beat Stephanie Harnden and Theodora Avramidis 8-0.

Ronney and Carberry won 8-1 at second doubles and Bengtsson/Sullivan took an 8-3 decision in the third spot.

Albright improves to 4-1 on the season, in their final match of the 2013 fall semester.
