Albright College Lions (1-1, 0-0)

The Lions got back on track with a 92-75 victory across town at Penn State-Berks on Saturday.

As a team, the Lions shot 55.2% in the second half, while also making 11-of-13 free throws (84.6%) in a very efficient period.

Messiah College Falcons (4-0, 0-0)

Messiah won the Commonwealth Conference in 2011-12 behind first team All-Conference sophomore David Fernandez (16.1 ppg, 56.1 FG%), beating Albright in overtime in the semifinals. Fernandez went down with an injury at the beginning of last season however, and the Falcons went 13-11, 9-9 and missed the playoffs with a season-ending loss to Alvernia.

Fernandez is back this year and averaging 11.0 ppg as the Falcons are off to a 4-0 start to the season. Christyan DeVan has started all four games, while his brother Aaron DeVan joins the squad after appearing in five games last season for Division I Mount St. Mary's.

Misericordia University Cougars (2-2)

Misericordia won the Freedom Conference in 2011-12, before falling back to 13-13 and a league semifinal loss last season. The Cougars are 2-2 heading into a Tuesday night matchup with Albright rival Lebanon Valley College.

MU won its home McCarthy Tire Laurel Line Tournament, before dropping road games at Scranton and Haverford. Steve Ware (14.0), Joe Busacca (13.0) and Matt Greene (11.8) are all averaging in double-figures for the Cougars.
