The Albright College women's tennis team knocked off winless Lycoming, 7-2 on Saturday in Williamsport, Pa.
Victoria Foanio and
Christina Peacock played at first doubles, winning 8-2.
In the second doubles spot, sophomores
Alyssa Sell and
Melissa Carberry teamed for an 8-1 decision to give Albright a lead heading into the singles matches.
Albright would take the top five singles points, including a sweep from Foanio in the top spot. Sell (second) and
Erin Sullivan (fifth) both won 6-1, 6-1 decisions.
Freshman
Elizabeth Bengtsson won 6-2, 6-0 at fourth singles, while Carberry was victorious in the third spot.
The Lions improve to 9-3, 2-3 and will face Lancaster Bible on Tuesday in their final home match of the season. Lycoming falls to 0-9, 0-5.
