The Albright College women's tennis team won their 2012-13 home finale, sweeping Lancaster Bible 9-0.
It was nearly a complete shutout, as the Chargers only won one game for the entire match. It came against Albright's top pairing, as sisters
Carmin Nachtigal and
Kayla Nachtigal stole a point in an 8-1 loss to
Victoria Foanio and
Alyssa Sell.
At second doubles,
Melissa Carberry and
Elizabeth Bengtsson won 8-0.
Foanio (first) and Sell (second) each swept to 6-0, 6-0 wins in their singles matches against the Nachtigals.
Also winning 6-0, 6-0 at singles was Carberry (third), Bengtsson (fourth) and
Erin Sullivan (fifth). The Chargers forfeited sixth singles and third doubles.
Albright is 10-5 and will conclude the regular season on Saturday at Messiah.
