After a tough loss at Hood, Albright faces an important home game against rival Lebanon Valley.

Alumni Game

Before facing LVC, the Lions will host their annual Alumni Game. Because of that, the men will play first at 2 p.m., with the women to follow at 4 p.m. One Albright alum will also be recognized at halftime.

Pearsall To Be Honored at Halftime

Albright's all-time leading scorer, Tom Pearsall, will be honored at halftime of Saturday's game vs. Lebanon Valley following his selection to the second induction class of the Middle Atlantic Conference Hall of Fame.

Pearsall is the only multiple-time All-American in Albright basketball history, earning those honors three years in a row. He was an honorable mention Associated Press Little All-America selection in 1961 and 1963; Pearsall was a third team United Press International Small College All-American in 1961, and a second team selection in 1962 and 1963.

Pearsall is Albright's all-time leading scorer with 2164 points; he led the Lions in scoring for each of his four seasons and had a career average of 20.2 ppg.

Albright College Lions (8-6, 4-3)

After winning five straight, the Lions blew an opportunity to put two games separation between themselves and the league's fifth-placed team by losing 61-60 at Hood on Wednesday.

Senior Pedro Perez had 23 points and eight rebounds in the loss. Classmate Sam Marrella added 12 points, while Kyle Jordan had 12 rebounds and four blocks. Perez had a 30-foot desperation attempt to win go off the rim.

Lebanon Valley College Dutchmen (4-9, 2-5)

LVC (4-9, 2-5) has lost three straight following a three-game home win streak that included a pair of Commonwealth wins and an 89-81 upset of defending league champion Alvernia.

Despite dropping games to Stevenson and Elizabethtown last week, junior Kevin Agnew was named to the D3hoops.com national Team of the Week. The guard averaged 32.5 ppg, scoring 34 points at Elizabethtown, and 31 at Stevenson. He ran off three consecutive 30-point games, after also putting up 33 against Alvernia. He was finally held to just 20 points this week in a loss to Lycoming.

Agnew, who is playing nearly 38 minutes a game, ranks third in the nation in scoring (27.4 ppg).

All-American Departures

Both teams are looking replace graduated All-American players this season. Albright's Dave Singleton was an honorable mention DIII News All-American choice last year. The only other Commonwealth Conference player on the list was Lebanon Valley's Danny Brooks, who was also an honorable mention selection. Brooks was a third team Academic All-American last season, and an honorable mention DIII News All-American in 2011-12 as well.
