READING, Pa. -
Keegan Frick picked up a loose ball early in the second half, after a scramble off a corner kick, and buried it in the bottom left of the net to provide the only goal as Albright College scored a 1-0 upset victory over 25th-ranked Lycoming Saturday night at Shirk Stadium.
Albright improved to 6-7-1 on the season while picking up its first conference win to move to 1-2 in the Commonwealth. Lycoming (9-2-3, 1-2 CC) fell for a second consecutive league contest after starting the season 9-0. The Warriors, who were ranked No. 25 in teh latest DIII Soccer.com poll, suffered its first defeat of the year on Wednesday at Messiah.
Frick scored his first of the year when the Warriors were unable to clear a corner from the right side, the junior fought his way into position and put in the only goal the Lions would need at 52:03.

Austin Aldinger made a save in each half for the shutout, Connor Keenan also registered two saves while suffering the defeat in the net for Lycoming
Lycoming battled and earned eight corners, six coming in the second half, but were unable to muster any quality scoring chances as the Lions defense was stout throughout the game. Albright was awarded three corners in the game.
Albright hosts Alvernia in another conference match on Tuesday night at 7 pm at Shirk Stadium.
