Kelecia Harris had a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds, and added seven blocks to pull within two of the Albright single season record.
Senior
Kristi McFadden added 12 points and six rebounds, with freshman
Shannon Thomas (11 points) also in double figures.
Stevenson's
Stephanie Martinez' three-pointer gave the Mustangs a 48-43 lead with 4:18 remaining, but Thomas answered from downtown at the other end. Martinez sank another three pointer with 3:10 to go however.
Albright still trailed by five with 1:35 to go and possession, but turned it over.
Kayleigh Guzek nailed a jumper, and Stevenson pushed the gap to 58-47 before
Jessica Venturelli hit a three-pointer in the final 10 seconds.
The Lions led by one or two points on four different occasions in the second half. The final time was 35-34 on Venturelli's jumper with 11:04 remaining.
Kadijah Bishop fouled
Kyarra Harmon on a three-point play to give Stevenson a 43-39 lead with 7:21 left. Bishop then came up with two big baskets however to tie the contest with under six-and-a-half minutes to play.
Stevenson held a bone cancer awareness event, wearing yellow shooting shirts and shoelaces and hosting youth teams.
Albright (13-10, 7-9) is one game behind Widener and Lycoming in a three-way race for the final playoff spot in the Commonwealth Conference. The Lions host Lycoming on Tuesday in the Bollman Center, while Widener travels to Messiah.
